This is a chic spin on Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz.   Pair your oversized gingham shirt (or dress) with a Mary Jane (add frilly socks for extra pizzaz), bold designer jewelry and a straw bag.  Tin Man, Lion and Scarecrow optional.

Halloween: Unicorn

Lets keep the animal theme going and add unicorn to the mix.  If you’ve been dying to try out cool makeup or hairstyles, this is the costume to do it with.  Pile on the highlighter and add sparkles EVERYWHERE, this is your chance to shine.  All you need is a silk dress (any pastel color will do) + some cool velvet boots (match your dress, or keep it simple with a neutral color).

Halloween: Bunny

Another easy costume is the black bunny. The iconic lace ears and veil will pull together your all black ensemble.  All you need is a black crop top, or lace top (if you want to get matchy matchy) + black high waisted pants + heels.  Add a cat eye and vampy lip for extra points.

Black Tee x Patterned Pant

One of my favorite things about living in the city are the sample sales that occur weekly.  Brands like Vince are marked down at a more accessible cost for interns, like myself.  A few weeks ago, I spent the day going to sample sales, I found these pants from Scotch and Soda.

Heels or Flats? I am usually a flats kinda gal, however I do appreciate a good heel now and then.

Style to you is… extremely important, I believe that first impressions are based off of appearance, and how you dress plays a large role in that. So, it’s important for me to feel put together before leaving the house.

Your Style | My style is a mix of street style with an edgy twist, but over all pretty casual.
