Bright Pops of Color

I recently purchased a JCrew tall tangerine blazer on sale, and have been dying to wear it.  I love the bright color because it is a great statement piece that will definitely stand out.  To enhance the color, I wore turquoise accessories and frayed denim.

I wore the blazer as a deep V-neck shirt, over frayed denim and leopard pumps.  In my opinion there are two ways to style a low top with jewelry.  One way is with the earrings being the statement and the other with a necklace.  Below are these two different ways.  Tell me what you think!

The blazer and denim are by JCrew, the shoes are by Renvy and the bag is by Hendri Bendel.  The earrings and ring were a gift from a local jeweler and the necklace is from Neiman Marcus and by Janise.

Garden Inspired

When I try to describe this outfit, the word garden comes to mind.  Maybe it’s because of the sun hat, or the floral top, but I am very happy with this “garden-like” outfit.  Either way I am very happy with the way it looks.

The silk-like material of the skirt is as delicate as a flower and is easily taken by the wind.  This is shown in many of the photos.

I love the way these photos show the outfit from all angles and give it a story.

The hat is from a local boutique called Coastal Fix, the shirt is from American Apparel and the skirt is from Anthropology.  The white bracelet is from Nordstrom and the green one is by Sisco Berluti, and the other two are from Neiman Marcus and by Love Heals.

Poppy Pink

This bright pink dress is the epitome of a statement piece.  The color jumps out and commands attention immediately.  Normally, I’m not drawn to neon-like colors, but the pink was flattering against my skin tone and the fit was perfect.  I have a hard time finding dresses that fit because of my proportions, so swing dress without a waist is my go to.

The pink pops against the green background and shows its true hue.  The dress is from Nordstrom BP and by Everly and the shoes are from TJMaxx and by Nine West.

Here is a close up of the accessories.  I chose a sea foam green clutch to contrast the bright pink.  The bag is from Fossil, and the green bracelet is from Sisco Berluti and the brown and green bracelet is from Neiman Marcus and by Love Heals.
